Sizing:
The size of your cake is determined by the number of guests you are expecting to serve. Wedding cake servings are smaller than average cake servings.
Wedding Cake Toppers:
All purchased cake toppers must be brought to me 2 weeks prior to the wedding so that I can be sure that the size and weight of your ornament fits the top tier of your wedding cake. An over sized or heavy topper requires a larger top tier and or extra support inserted in the top tier. Some cannot be used as they make the cake too top heavy and unstable.
Cake Delivery:
We recommend having your cake delivered by our experienced delivery personnel (meaning me and whoever I round up to help). No charge for delivery in the local area. We are not responsible for cakes picked up. When the cake leaves the bakery it becomes the customer's property and responsibility. (that's the serious part)
Ordering & Deposits:
Please place your order as early as possible as we are on a first-come, first-served basis of accepting orders. Many dates become booked early during the busy wedding season from March through October. A $50.00 non-refundable reservation fee is required to order a wedding cake or reserve a delivery date. The final payment of your cake is due not later than 2 weeks prior to the wedding date. Any changes to your order will need to be made at this time. There are no refunds on cancellations.
A separate security deposit of $25.00 is required on mirrors, silver plateaus, acrylic stands and cake fountain assembly parts. This equipment deposit is to be paid at the same time as the wedding cake balance and is refundable if returned in the same condition within 5 days or less after the wedding.
